CORR ends 2007 in style at Las vegas international off road
raceway in Primm, NV
Newport Beach,
CA (Oct. 26, 2007)- CORR arrives at Las Vegas International Off
Road Raceway in Primm, NV for the 2007 finale weekend on Nov. 3rd
and 4th. Primm will be the final grounds for
Championship battles and the 2nd Annual Jason Baldwin
Memorial Cup.
In
the Pro 4 class Carl Renezeder currently leads the points. He
racked up five wins in his Lucas Oil number 17, giving him a
strong lead among the rest of the field. In the Pro 2 class
Jerry Whelchel leads by only 14 points in front of defending Pro
2 Champion Carl Renezeder. In the Pro Lite class Rob Naughton
took home eight wins in 2007 and leads the point’s race by 29
points. The pressure is on to see who will prevail in all three
Pro Classes, as anything can happen in these final rounds.
Highlighted at Primm, it’s the race everyone has been waiting
for the 2nd Annual Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup.
Pro 2 and Pro 4
drivers have competed throughout the year in six separate races
to qualify for this winner-take-all cup race on Sunday November
4th. In memory of the late Jason Baldwin this race
will pit Pro 2’s and Pro 4’s against each other, as they battle
for a $66,000 purse prize and the prestigious Jason Baldwin
Memorial Cup.
Jeremy McGrath will race in the Pro 2 class both days at Las
Vegas International Off Road Raceway in Primm, NV. Racing all
weekend in the CORR Lucas Oil Series and the NBC broadcast Jason
Baldwin Memorial Cup Last Chance Qualifier, McGrath is sure to
be a fan favorite. After his first podium finish at the
Antelope Valley Fairgrounds back in September, McGrath is
thrilled to be back and wants to add a CORR win to his resume.
There

premium ticket, $25 general admission, $5 for kids 4 to 12 years

Greg
& team will appear LIVE on the KUSI San Diego Morning show this
Friday to help promote the CORR Chula Vista races that will be
going on this weekend.

Look
familiar? That's Rick Boyer on the right in 1983 a year after
Greg was born. Greg's wearing a beard (left) just like his Dad
did in the early parts of his racing career. Greg says that this
is a tribute to his Dad, a thank you for everything. "I'm going
to Chula Vista this weekend to win, and im going to dedicate the
win to my Dad, that's if he doesn't beat me, haha."

Greg had a great weekend at CORR
Lancaster rounds 7&8 coming home with a 1st and 5th place! Greg
is now 1st in Single Buggy points. Greg drove for Vic Ziegler in
the Brand new (never been raced) Lothringer Single Buggy and
took it to the top, giving the car a 1st place for the 1st time
out! The Hired gun will be finishing the season and plans to
come out on top.

After a 3 month break of racing, Greg
returns to Antelope Valley Fairground this weekend in a brand
new race car owned by Vic Ziegler. The car chassis was built by
Lothringer Engineering and assembled by Jon I with Boyer Racing.
Greg's original car "Franky" is now being driven by younger
brother Chris Boyer.

Newport Beach, CA (June 13, 2007) - The new Chula
Vista International Off Road Raceway brought
challenges to the Sportsman Series. With 45 degree
banking and a 117 feet elevation change in turn one,
the fans were on their feet to watch each sportsman
class attack the track. |

Sean Kennedy started on the pole in
Saturday’s Single Buggy feature. There was a crash in turn one
of lap one that sent several drivers to the back of the field.
Kennedy held onto first place for ten laps until lap eleven when
John Fitzgerald who started in the 18th position worked his way
through the field to pass Kennedy at the start of the final lap.
This was Fitzgerald’s first CORR race of the season. Kennedy
held on the second and Jeff Knupp rounded out the podium.
“After crashing the buggy out here in testing and all the work
the guys put into our buggy I am so proud of our finish,” said
Jeff Knupp.
Troy Morgan led the field of thirty one Single Buggies at the
start of Sunday’s event. Morgan dominated the field leading
every lap of the race. Kevin Greaves who was running in second
until lap six was passed by Greg Boyer. Boyer however lost the
second position quickly when he was passed by John Fitzgerald on
the final lap. In the end it was Morgan with first, Fitzgerald
with second and Boyer rounding out the podium.
| Larry Job led
the field to green in Saturday’s Super Buggy event. Job
was passed on lap three by Larry Foddrill who started in
the ninth position. Foddrill maintained the lead all the
way to the checkered flag. Rob MacCachren came in second
and Jake Capriotti rounded out the podium. |

On Sunday, Rob MacCachren led the
field from the start of the Super Buggy event to the end.
Meanwhile John Cooley, Jake Capriotti and Jeff Elrod battled it
out for second position. In the end Elrod won the battle
securing second place behind MacChren with Larry Foddrill
finishing third.

Championship off road racing invades the fairplex on may 19th
and 20th
Newport Beach, CA
(May 10, 2007) — For the first time Championship Off Road
Racing will be displaying its heart pounding, fender-to-fender
style of racing at the Fairplex located in Pomona, CA On May 19th
and 20th, CORR’s heroes return for the second race
weekend of the 2007 season.
As a result of the intense battles
that took place at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Fairplex
will be the track to revisit feuds and see NASCAR driver Robby
Gordon take another shot at racing in a Pro 2. On Sunday May 20th
Gordon will race in a Baldwin prepared Pro 2 for round four of
the CORR Lucas Oil series, as well as the NBC broadcast Jason
Baldwin Memorial Cup Series qualifier.
The season is underway and it
should be a thrilling one, as the competition and battles heat
up. Come watch the excitement of CORR™ racing live. Gates open
for the general public at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

After the first and second round of the 2007 CORR season Greg
Boyer is 3rd in points. Saturday 4/21 was CORR's season
opener in Lancaster, CA. Greg lead a few laps early in the race
but finished 2nd to his brother Cory. Greg's dad Rick got a 3rd
making it an all Boyer podium. The Boyer's are proud to say that
they were the first family ever to place in the top three in an
off-road race. Sunday 4/22 Greg got a front flat on lap three
handicapping him against the field. Greg was able to finish 10th
place.
Quotes: "Friday i was having some carb. problems, but i ended up
pulling the fastest lap in practice."
"Saturday's race was tough!
CORR had some new caution flag rules that were very confusing
which cost me the win i believe."
"Sunday's race i had bad luck
and got hit by another car caving in my nerf bar in and
flattening my front right tire. I was using my turning brake the
whole race to turn my car."

Greg Boyer Dominates
the CORR Single Buggy class taking home a 1st & 2nd place July
22nd & 23rd 2006. "It was a trouble free weekend for me, the car
was running perfect!"
